What is Travel for a Cause?
Travel for a Cause is an exclusive fundraising initiative created independently by Getaway by Tonya Jean Becker LLC. The goal is to help eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits generate support through travel bookings using a portion of the agency’s net commissions.
Is the program running yet?
Not yet — the program is in development and paused until 2027. Tonya is seeking a nonprofit pilot partner to help shape the program, revenue tracking, and donation process.
Can my nonprofit take part?
If your organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit interested in shaping the pilot, reach out through the contact form. Tonya is looking for a pilot partner to help refine how the program works.
How would donations work?
The idea is that a portion of the agency’s net commission from eligible bookings supports the organization involved. The exact tracking and donation process is being designed with the pilot partner — nothing is promised until the program is final.
Can individuals or families still plan a trip today?
Yes — you can plan group getaways, multigenerational trips, and bucket-list travel with Tonya today. Travel for a Cause itself launches later; in the meantime, ordinary trip planning is business as usual.
